Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Food safety knowledge
- Willingness to follow established recipes and guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a broiler chef or similar role in a steakhouse or restaurant
- Knowledge of broiling, grilling, and sautéing techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Food safety certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- Ability to broil, grille and/or sauté and to use a top-broiler to prepare proteins to desired doneness
- Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
- Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the broiling station
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow
- Monitor inventory of broiler-related ingredients and supplies
