Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Food safety knowledge
  • Willingness to follow established recipes and guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a broiler chef or similar role in a steakhouse or restaurant
  • Knowledge of broiling, grilling, and sautéing techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Food safety certification preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Ability to broil, grille and/or sauté and to use a top-broiler to prepare proteins to desired doneness
  • Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
  • Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the broiling station
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize workflow
  • Monitor inventory of broiler-related ingredients and supplies
