Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year experience as a broiler chef or grill cook
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capacity to work in a hot kitchen environment
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- good physical stamina
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar broiler chef or grill cook role
- knowledge of cooking techniques for broiling, grilling and sautéing
- ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- strong attention to detail with food presentation
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- basic understanding of food safety practices
Job Duties
- Ability to broil, grille and/or saute, and to use a top-broiler to prepare proteins to desired doneness
- coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
- follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests
- maintain cleanliness and organization of broiling station
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- monitor food quality and report any inconsistencies
- adhere to safety and sanitation standards
