Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional kitchen
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Food handler certification
- Ability to work well under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a broiler chef or in a similar kitchen role
- Knowledge of broiling, grilling and saute techniques
- Ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Food safety certification is preferred
Job Duties
- Broil, grill and/or saute proteins to desired doneness using a top-broiler
- Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
- Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the broiling station
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service
- Monitor food quality and consistency during preparation
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
