Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Food handler certification
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a broiler chef or in a similar kitchen role
  • Knowledge of broiling, grilling and saute techniques
  • Ability to follow recipes and presentation guidelines accurately
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Food safety certification is preferred

Job Duties

  • Broil, grill and/or saute proteins to desired doneness using a top-broiler
  • Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
  • Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the broiling station
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service
  • Monitor food quality and consistency during preparation
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
