Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a steakhouse or fine dining environment preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Food handler's certification preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and presentation guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a broiler chef or similar role
  • Knowledge of broiling, grilling, and sautéing techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Basic food safety and sanitation knowledge
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Ability to broil, grille and/or saute, and to use a top-broiler to prepare proteins to desired doneness
  • Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
  • Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guest expectations
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and adhere to hygiene standards
  • Maintain inventory of broiling supplies and equipment
  • Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff for smooth service flow
  • Monitor food quality and suggest improvements
