Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a steakhouse or fine dining environment preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Food handler's certification preferred
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and presentation guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a broiler chef or similar role
- Knowledge of broiling, grilling, and sautéing techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Basic food safety and sanitation knowledge
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Ability to broil, grille and/or saute, and to use a top-broiler to prepare proteins to desired doneness
- Coordinate food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each table
- Follow recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guest expectations
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and adhere to hygiene standards
- Maintain inventory of broiling supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff for smooth service flow
- Monitor food quality and suggest improvements
