Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of food preparation and serving techniques
- Two years satisfactory experience at food service worker level or equivalent technical training and experience
- Some willingness to work a flexible shift
- Standards of personal hygiene consistent with sanitation rules and regulations
- Some overseeing and cash handling experience is desirable
- Occasional lifting of over 75 pounds is required

Job Duties
- Participate and oversee student staff in preparation of short order food items
- Assist with ordering, receiving and inventory of food and supplies
- Participate and direct student staff in proper sanitation of unit
- Oversee proper handling and storage of food and supplies to reduce waste and spoilage
- Operate cash register and maintain transaction controls during shifts
- Assist in cleaning of dishes, utensils and work areas according to sanitary standards
- Ensure compliance with university closure policies and emergency operational requirements
