Job Requirements

  • Ability to follow prescribed recipes
  • working knowledge of cooking methods, processes, and materials
  • two years satisfactory experience as Food Service Worker or equivalent combination of technical training and experience
  • willingness to work a flexible shift
  • standards of personal hygiene consistent with sanitation rules and regulations
  • occasional lifting of 26 to 75 pounds required

Job Duties

  • Prepare, season, cook, and portion a wide variety of foods
  • work within a diverse workforce in a dynamic environment
  • organize work area and student staff for food service delivery
  • follow prescribed recipes accurately
  • maintain standards of personal hygiene and sanitation
  • work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
  • occasionally lift heavy items between 26 to 75 pounds
