Job Qualifications
- technical degree equivalent or actively pursuing a degree in audio and video
- experience in the live events or sports/broadcast entertainment field
- ability to learn new technical systems and read and understand technical materials
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the broadcast team, other departments, and clients
- self-starter, able to work efficiently and independently
- strong time management with the ability to set priorities under pressure of deadlines
- must be flexible to accommodate shift changes, including extended hours, weekends, evenings, and holidays
- ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment
- demonstrated ability to communicate and positively interact in a diverse multi-cultural environment
Job Duties
- set up and maintain audio and video equipment for private events
- understand basic audio and video signal flow for audio/video equipment
- assist in preventative maintenance and/or troubleshooting on all broadcast devices
- understand how to operate a small mixing console
- ensure that audio and video needs are executed with the utmost professional attitude
- interact with clients and production crews to ensure successful events
- work closely with the manager of broadcast and the video engineer to set up for events
- work with our IPTV team, assisting with audio/video routing systems such as Crestron and Q-Sys
