The Broadcast Operations Stadium Manager will hold comprehensive responsibility for planning, coordinating, and executing all broadcast operations and related non-technical services within an assigned FIFA World Cup 2026 stadium. This position is pivotal in upholding the highest international broadcast standards, coordinating closely with multiple stakeholders including FIFA functional departments, stadium management teams, and the Host Broadcaster. By overseeing the implementation of broadcast infrastructure, managing operational risks, ensuring compliance, and leading on-site broadcast teams, this role ensures that the live transmission and media coverage of the tournament are seamless and top-tier.
The Broadcast Operations Venue Manager will work in a demanding, fast-paced environment that requires exceptional project management skills and the ability to perform under pressure. Their leadership skills will be crucial in fostering collaboration among diverse on-site and off-site stakeholders to guarantee timely and efficient broadcast operations. They will actively participate in venue-level coordination meetings, represent FIFA’s broadcast interests, and ensure that all broadcast activities comply with FIFA’s sustainability, safety, and accessibility standards. With a fixed-term full-time employment type and a location based in Houston, the position necessitates onsite presence.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or similar level of higher education
- Minimum 6 years of experience in event management, preferably in a broadcast environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in major sports events or FIFA events is a plus
- Proven under pressure performance in dynamic environments
- Familiarity with assigned stadium and city is a plus
- Fluency in English
- Spanish or French language skills are a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and planning tools
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or similar level of higher education

- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with experience of managing complex projects across preparation, planning, and delivery
- Experience in major sports events, FIFA World Cup or other FIFA events will be an asset
- Proven track record of performing under pressure in a dynamic, multicultural and time-critical environment
- Familiarity and working experience with the stadium and city assigned are a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
Job Duties
- Oversee planning and implementation of all stadium broadcast facilities and services in line with FIFA broadcast and technical requirements
- Collaborate closely with FIFA World Cup 2026 functional areas, stadium management, and the Host Broadcaster to align construction, logistics, services, and stadium operations with broadcast needs
- Act as a primary point of contact for the stadium broadcast team, facilitating smooth communication between all broadcast related stakeholders
- Maintain an overview of all Broadcast operations at the stadium
- Monitor the progress of broadcast facility management implementation, proactively managing risks, issues and dependencies, and escalating urgent matters promptly
- Ensure full compliance and operational readiness of all broadcast infrastructure, including commentary positions, camera platforms, compound areas and connectivity
- Oversee seamless broadcast operations during the event period
- Coordinate the implementation of non-technical services for broadcast (security, cleaning & waste, etc.)
- Support on-site broadcast teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear task allocation and accountability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with FIFA departments, and local authorities to ensure effective collaboration and timely problem-solving
- Represent FIFA's broadcast interests at venue-level coordination meetings and briefings
- Prepare detailed progress reports and readiness updates throughout planning and delivery phases
- Daily reporting to broadcast HQ during tournament operation on all stadium broadcast operations status
- Conduct post-event assessments, evaluating broadcast operations, identifying opportunities for successes and process improvement
- Ensure all broadcast operations uphold FIFA’s sustainability, safety and accessibility standards
