Job Requirements

- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- General mechanical knowledge
- Effective customer interaction and communication skills
- Ability to work in high, tight, or confined spaces
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Physical capability for frequent lifting up to 100 lbs
Job Qualifications

- Basic mechanical and consumer device knowledge
- Effective communication skills with customers and coworkers
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime

- Ability to safely climb and work in limited spaces
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Basic troubleshooting and signal level reading skills
- Ability to learn and follow FCC rules and company policies
Job Duties
- Make customer drop installations complete from tap to antenna terminals in single and multiple unit dwellings
- Perform new connects, reconnects, disconnects, add outlets, install or remove converters, upgrades and downgrades of service
- Analyze picture quality and judge acceptability after installation
- Use connectors, fasteners, wire, hand and power tools
- Complete paperwork prescribed by system management
- Read signal levels with field strength meter, install connectors, maintain clearances and install tap-off devices
- Climb poles, ladders and other structures with proper safety equipment
- Lift and carry loads up to 100 lbs, work in confined spaces
- Use and maintain VOM or DMM for voltage checks
- Read drop system layouts from blueprints
- Inform customers of FCC rules and company policies
- Drive company vehicles including bucket trucks and perform vehicle upkeep
- Generate revenue through effective sales techniques and product promotion
- Perform clean-up, salvage and assist other employees
- Adhere to codes, company procedures and safe work practices during installations and service changes
