Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of experience or training in food preparation
  • Knowledge of state sanitation and health regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to endure prolonged standing and movement
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Plan and prep food items according to company standards
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members to foster a respectful work environment
  • Assist chefs in reviewing assignments and anticipated business levels
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness and organization of line workstations throughout shifts
  • Start prep work on menu items and ensure all prep items are ready for service
  • Strictly abide by state sanitation and health regulations
