Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- minimum of 5 years of management experience in the food and beverage or brewpub industry
- demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
- knowledge of labor laws and safety regulations
- strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- capability to work independently with good judgment
- flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings and weekends
- valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Job Duties
- Creates and maintains an environment of hospitality and excellence in execution
- trains management team on methods to proactively seek out and resolve guest concerns or issues
- resolves escalated guest issues as necessary
- recognizes and implements opportunities to improve guest interactions
- ensures focus on building guest relationships for repeat visits
- provides proper and detailed training for hourly and management personnel
- conducts and leads weekly management meetings
- trains management teams on performance evaluations and new hire orientations
- provides daily inspiration and boosts morale
- creates and leads semi-annual all-staff meetings
- trains managers on communicating standards in pre-shift meetings
- coaches and provides feedback to management team
- establishes relationship with Kitchen Manager to ensure unity
- sources, interviews and hires hourly staff
- collaborates with HR and Regional Manager on employee matters
- leads by example demonstrating positive and professional image
- follows procedures on budgeting, tracking, and processing labor dollars
- maintains company forms and checklists
- conducts periodic audits and corrective actions
- fosters vendor relationships
- conducts facility repair and maintenance walkthroughs
- orders facility repairs
- ensures a safe working environment
- maintains and implements operational systems, policies and procedures
- trains management team on forms completion
- ensures understanding of safety program
- implements corrective measures to reduce theft/robbery risk
- adheres and trains managers on regulations and postings
- supports marketing programs
- uses communication tools to keep staff informed
- promotes employee benefits programs
- meets timelines from Home Office
- maintains employee files complying with HIPPA
- manages Aloha system for pricing and personnel info
- manages employee terminations per procedures
- implements financial strategies for bottom line
- analyzes trends and creates budgets with Regional Manager
- establishes guidelines for ordering/receiving
- approves and forwards invoices
- trains on reconciling reports and inventories
- reconciles P&L and GL
- manages cost of goods and audits inventory
- manages daily sales reporting
