Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings and late nights
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays if necessary
- Capability to create and maintain genuine, uplifting customer interactions
- Physical ability to work carefully and quickly with hot liquids, glass bottles, and dairy products
- Ability to work outdoors for prolonged periods regardless of weather
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for several hours at a time
- Ability to climb and use a step ladder
- Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary for stocking and cleaning
- Safely walk in drive-through lanes among vehicles
- Safely use a utility knife
- Follows company procedure for communicating time off requests
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in coffee preparation or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- Familiarity with drink recipes and customizations
- Ability to follow company procedures and policies
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team setting
Job Duties
- Converse with customers to confirm their drink orders and correctly key them into the point-of-sale system
- Collect payments for orders and correctly count back change to customers
- Prepare all drinks and premixes according to company standards
- Move with urgency to serve customers promptly
- Stay productive and proactive throughout the entire shift, even when business is slow
- Make personal connections with customers through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and positive body language
- Know the menu and drink customizations thoroughly to assist customers in choosing their desired drinks
- Bring best self to work every day, maintaining good hygiene and appropriate dress
- Follow shift change duties, checklists, and weekly chores
- Arrive clocked in and ready to work at assigned position when the shift begins
- Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to organizational standards and sanitation regulations
