Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Registered and insured vehicle
- Ability to drive continuously to and from accounts
- Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently
- Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale materials
- Residency in West Palm Beach, Royal Palm Beach, Palm Beach Garden or surrounding areas
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or food and beverage industry
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong competitive spirit with assertive and confident personality
- Ability to work independently and manage a field-based sales territory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform waitstaff and bartender education
- Competent in building promotional displays and organizing product presentations
Job Duties
- Sell the entire Boston Beer Company product portfolio
- 100% focus on selling products and/or upgrading number of product lines in retail accounts including bars, restaurants, liquor, grocery stores, and convenience stores
- Identify major accounts not currently selling BBC products and develop plans to establish business
- Improve conditions and merchandise accounts by building displays, resetting coolers, and displaying point-of-sale items
- Partner with distributors to ensure orders are placed and products received
- Conduct waitstaff and bartender education, beer tastings, and evening promotions
- Travel regularly within the market to service retailers and wholesalers
- Work weekends and holidays as needed to support business
- Attend meetings and trainings occasionally
- Adapt to varied daily working conditions due to customer-facing role
