Brewed By Gnomes is a creative and innovative project that focuses on fermentation, botanical beers, and old-world techniques, initially brought to life through pop-ups and collaborations. Recently, the team behind Brewed By Gnomes has opened a physical space called Gnome & Faerie, located on SE Hawthorne. This unique venue is designed to feel warm, a little different, and somewhere people feel comfortable settling into. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior culinary experience in a professional kitchen
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • capable of managing a kitchen staff if applicable
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • willingness to collaborate in a shared environment
  • clear concept vision for food program

Job Qualifications

  • proven experience as a chef or culinary team leader
  • strong culinary creativity and vision
  • ability to manage kitchen operations and flow
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • experience working in a shared or collaborative space
  • understanding of beverage-forward dining environment
  • ability to develop and execute clear and focused food concepts

Job Duties

  • develop and run a unique food program within the existing kitchen
  • collaborate with front of house staff and beverage team
  • manage kitchen flow and operations effectively
  • ensure the food concept aligns with a beverage-forward space
  • maintain consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation
  • work cooperatively within a shared environment
  • adapt food offerings based on customer feedback and business needs
