Job Requirements

  • 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must live within two-hour driving distance of Vero Beach Regional Airport
  • Must interview and be selected as a part time flight attendant
  • Successfully complete initial flight attendant training
  • Ability to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins
  • Ability to have adequate head clearance in the cabin
  • Ability to sit and buckle into E190 and A220 jumpseat harness and lap belt
  • Must be neat and well-groomed
  • Must be service-oriented
  • Ability to pass vision and hearing tests
  • Must pass security screening training
  • Pass DOT pre-employment drug test
  • Pass TSA fingerprint-based criminal history and background check
  • Legal right to work in U.S.
  • Legal right to travel without restrictions
  • Current passport with minimum six months validity
  • Ability to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Willing to relocate if needed
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
  • Able to work reserve assignments
  • Self-starter with positive attitude
  • Adhere to company guidelines for nose piercings and tattoos
  • No teeth embellishments in uniform
  • No more than two earrings per ear in uniform

  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages including alcohol with highest hygiene standards
  • Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organization
  • Provide safety instructions, emergency, and evacuation procedures to guests
  • Administer first aid and medical care in emergencies
  • Control personal and emotional responses under stress
  • Conduct security screenings
  • Complete Autism Awareness Training
  • Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations
