Job Requirements
- Must live within a two-hour driving distance from Raleigh-Durham International Airport
- Interview and be selected to become a part time Breeze flight attendant
- Successfully complete initial flight attendant training
- Height minimum - must be able to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance
- Height maximum - must have adequate head clearance in the cabin
- Must be neat and well-groomed
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to pass vision and hearing tests
- Ability to sit and buckle into jumpseat seatbelt and lap belt
- Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug test
- Ability to pass TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a company background check
- Legal right to work and travel without restriction in the U.S.
- Current passport with at least six months validity
- Must be service-oriented
- Adhere to CDC hygiene standards
- Able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willing to relocate based on company needs
- Able to report for work in assigned base and reserve assignments
- Nose piercings allowed only as small studs
- No hoops or other facial piercings allowed
- No teeth embellishments
- No more than two earrings per ear
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
- Ability to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 flight attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness and lap belt
- Neat, well-groomed, and capable of making a positive impression
- Must be service-oriented
- Adhere to highest possible hygiene standard as outlined by the CDC
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to pass a vision and hearing test
- Ability to successfully complete security screening training
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Legal right to travel without restriction to/from the United States
- Current passport with a minimum of six months remaining prior to expiration
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages
- Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours if needed
- Self-starter, must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Skilled in handling difficult situations, problem solving, complaint resolution and conflict de-escalation
- Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization
Job Duties
- Provide an exceptional guest experience - warmly welcome guests onto the aircraft, aide in seating assignments, luggage and garment stowage, or any additional information requested, while remaining present and available for further assistance
- Remain positive and be kind - guests should always feel valued and appreciated, be empathetic and act with humanity
- Maintain a safe work environment for guests and team members
- Remain calm under pressure and mitigate high-stress situations
- Effectively communicate, collaborate, and show respect for other team members
- Stay approachable and accommodating by monitoring the cabin regularly
- Remain flexible - understand that schedules may change due to operational, weather-related, and other unforeseen delays
