Job Requirements
- Must live within two-hour driving distance from Southwest Florida International Airport
- Successfully complete initial flight attendant training
- Able to sit and buckle into jumpseat harness and lap belt
- Adhere to highest hygiene standards as outlined by CDC
- Able to lift and move heavy items up to fifty pounds
- Able to push or pull beverage and food carts weighing up to sixty pounds
- Ability to stand extended periods
- Ability to close overhead storage compartments with fifty pounds force
- Ability to assist disabled passengers
- Ability to read emergency announcements and give commands in English
- Must report to assigned base and accept reserve assignments
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Neat and well-groomed
- Acceptable nose piercings per company guidelines
- No teeth embellishments
- Maximum two earrings per ear in uniform
Job Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must meet height requirements for safety
- Service-oriented with neat and well-groomed appearance
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Pass vision and hearing tests
- Ability to complete security screening training
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug test
- Pass TSA fingerprint-based criminal background check
- Legal right to work and travel in the U.S.
- Possess current valid passport with at least six months validity
- Ability to serve alcoholic beverages
- Willingness to relocate if required
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
- Self-starter with a positive attitude
- Compliance with company guidelines on piercings, tattoos, and jewelry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict de-escalation abilities
Job Duties
- Provide an exceptional guest experience by welcoming guests and assisting with seating and luggage stowage
- Remain positive and kind to ensure guests feel valued
- Maintain a safe work environment for guests and team members
- Remain calm under pressure and mitigate high-stress situations
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with team members with respect
- Monitor the cabin regularly to stay approachable and accommodating
- Adapt to schedule changes due to operational or weather-related issues
- Stay current and compliant with FAA regulations, company procedures, and training requirements
- Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and personal responsibility
- Uphold professional appearance and etiquette guidelines
- Assist in other departments when necessary
- Use and explain Breeze's inflight technology
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages while adhering to hygiene standards
- Maintain cabin cleanliness and galley organization
- Provide emergency instructions and evacuation procedures to guests
- Administer first-aid and medical care as needed
- Control personal emotional responses and act appropriately under stress
- Conduct security screenings
- Complete autism awareness training
- Adhere to FAA and DOT travel regulations
- Achieve performance measures aligned with Breeze's core values
