Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 1-2 years of customer service or interpersonal skills experience
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift packages up to 50lb
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Willingness to travel on short notice
- Physical ability to perform frequent bending, reaching, standing and walking
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a position requiring interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Client interaction, communication, organization and time management skills are critical
- Ability to respond quickly to changing demands
- Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to repeatedly lift packages up to 50lb
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Willingness to travel to other locations to assist on short notice
- Frequent bending, keying/fingering, hearing, speaking and lifting required
- Constant reaching, seeing, standing and walking required
Job Duties
- Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees and teas
- Operating coffee equipment including espresso machines, grinders and brewers
- Greeting customers when they enter the building
- Restocking supplies such as cups, lids, coffee beans, syrups and pastries
- Keeping the work environment and cafe seating area clean, sanitary and organized
- Cleaning countertops and behind the counter including coffee grinders, decanters or milk frothers
- Assisting with opening and closing duties including setup, cleaning and inventory tasks
- Unloading and stocking daily inventory ensuring product freshness by monitoring date codes
- Managing ordering, delivery and stocking of items at client location
- Communicating with customers about new product interest
- Using a laptop computer to manage stocking PAR levels, product orders and client invoicing
- Performing minor repairs to equipment
- Calling in orders and service calls to head office
- Distributing promotional materials and merchandising complete product line
- Cleaning equipment and exchanging decanters on each visit
- Communicating with Route Sales Manager or General Manager regarding customers and reporting on pending problems or competitor presence
- Establishing and maintaining good working relationships and liaison with customers to project a positive image of the company and product
