Job Requirements

  • Must have reliable transportation and a telephone
  • Must be physically fit able to bend stoop and lift
  • Must adhere to grooming and uniform standards
  • Must be able to report to work punctually and consistently
  • Must be willing to work weekends holidays and flexible shifts
  • Must understand and follow all safety guidelines and hotel policies
  • Must be proactive in responding to guest needs and service recovery
  • Must be alert to security concerns and report accordingly
  • Must be capable of performing various miscellaneous duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response
  • Customer-oriented attitude with ability to handle guest concerns professionally
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and quality control
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals

Job Duties

  • Report to work on time in proper and clean uniform including name tag
  • Be on feet for 8 hours during shifts
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all policies procedures and standards
  • Use customer names whenever possible to enhance guest experience
  • Respond immediately to all guest problems and correspondence
  • Keep equipment and storerooms clean locked and organized
  • Rotate and replenish food items every 30 minutes during breakfast hours
  • Maintain quality control of all food items served
  • Stock pantry and complete weekly inventory and supply orders
  • Keep guest seating breakfast bar kitchen and pantry stocked organized and clean
  • Be alert to security issues reporting unusual activities to supervisors or security personnel
  • Assist guests with their needs providing courteous and professional service
  • Report any operational defects requiring assistance from engineering or maintenance
  • Adhere to all safety policies including accident prevention and equipment operation protocols
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as requested by the General Manager
  • Maintain logbooks handovers and checklists relevant to breakfast operations
