Job Requirements
- Food handler's permit required
- Prior experience as a server in a restaurant, cafe, or hotel environment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability and willingness to work a varied and flexible schedule including weekends, days, nights, and holidays
- Must tolerate prolonged periods of standing, walking
- occasional kneeling, bending, and stooping
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds as needed to carry trays of food
- Must tolerate exposure to cleaning solutions

Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly, warmly, and courteously
- Restock and clean condiment areas, empty trash and recycling as needed
- Prepare all food items according to instructions, ensuring proper sanitation methods are used
- Ensure food is presented in an appealing manner and according to brand or property standards
- Bus/clear tables in dining area to ensure a clean and inviting environment
- Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions
- troubleshooting breakdowns

- calling for repairs
- Assist with inventory counts and ordering as requested by management
- Ensure all food handling, safety, and sanitization protocols are followed at all times
- Promptly respond to guest with any additional request
- Wash and clean any dishes used during service
- Clean kitchen area
- Rotate stock to ensure freshness and excellent food quality
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and workspaces
- Complete pre- and post-shift responsibilities including stocking, cleaning, mopping floors, cleaning service areas
- Report any maintenance issues or damaged equipment
- Maintain professionalism with coworkers and guests
- Take orders accurately, seek clarification on special requests, and close transactions with the correct method of payment
- Enter orders into the POS system, ensuring special requests are noted accurately
- Print closing reports and drop cash according to company guidelines
- Other duties may be assigned by management
