Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • relevant experience in hospitality or food service preferred
  • good communication skills
  • physical ability to lift pull and push moderate weights
  • availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to stand and move for long periods
  • wearing of uniform and nametag at all times
  • completion of required safety and hygiene training
  • adherence to attendance and punctuality policies
  • commitment to maintain guest service standards and hotel grooming requirements
  • willingness to perform other reasonable duties as assigned
  • knowledge of emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in hospitality or food service roles is an advantage

Job Duties

  • assist all guests in a sincere and courteous manner and be visible during service hours
  • prepare and set up breakfast according to brand standards and local health regulations
  • attend to guest needs ensuring food is continually replenished and appealing
  • check food appearance temperature and portions before serving
  • clear and clean tables and chairs during and after service hours
  • maintain front lobby area and keep dining and work areas clean and organized
  • operate and maintain dispensing machines equipment and utensils neatly
  • organize storage following first in first out food rotation
  • clean refrigerators and work areas according to standards
  • plan and prepare inventory for the following day
  • demonstrate knowledge of hotel services and local area to assist guests
  • apply safety and security procedures for a safe environment
  • inform supervisors promptly of any issues
  • practice energy conservation
  • adhere to attendance policy
  • lift carry or move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance
  • wear uniform including nametag at all times
  • communicate effectively with guests team members and managers
  • respond to guest complaints professionally
  • follow all company work rules procedures and policies
  • complete chemical and blood borne pathogen training
  • be flexible in job function including redeployment
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • understand and follow hotel emergency safety hygiene and health policies
