Job Requirements
- Must have excellent customer service skills and a stable work history
- Must be able to work entire shift on feet at a quick pace
- Must be flexible to work any shift including weekends
- Background screening for previous criminal history
- Employment may be contingent upon achieving at least 80% score on test of the hotel's reservation system after training
- Must embrace and respect diversity and multicultural environment
- Emotionally competent and able to manage disruptive emotions and impulses
- Ability to anticipate guests' needs
- Promote the hotel by demonstrating a high level of positive attitude and energy to serve guests
- Must wear hotel uniform in compliance with hotel standards
Job Qualifications
- At least a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Six months of experience in a customer service role demonstrating exceeded customer expectations
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Proficient in Excel
- Experienced with data entry
- Knowledge of database management systems
- Ability to speak in guests' preferred language is a plus
Job Duties
- Welcomes guests to the lobby breakfast bar and provides fast and courteous service
- Sets up the Hot On the House breakfast each morning following hotel franchise breakfast guidelines
- Consistently interacts with guests to provide a superior breakfast experience
- Maintains food service quality and safety standards
- Communicates guest feedback to hotel management
- Maintains a clean work environment compliant with health codes and hotel quality assurance
- Performs additional tasks as requested while wearing hotel uniform according to standards
