Job Requirements

  • Must have excellent customer service skills and a stable work history
  • Must be able to work entire shift on feet at a quick pace
  • Must be flexible to work any shift including weekends
  • Background screening for previous criminal history
  • Employment may be contingent upon achieving at least 80% score on test of the hotel's reservation system after training
  • Must embrace and respect diversity and multicultural environment
  • Emotionally competent and able to manage disruptive emotions and impulses
  • Ability to anticipate guests' needs
  • Promote the hotel by demonstrating a high level of positive attitude and energy to serve guests
  • Must wear hotel uniform in compliance with hotel standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least a high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Six months of experience in a customer service role demonstrating exceeded customer expectations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experienced with data entry
  • Knowledge of database management systems
  • Ability to speak in guests' preferred language is a plus

Job Duties

  • Welcomes guests to the lobby breakfast bar and provides fast and courteous service
  • Sets up the Hot On the House breakfast each morning following hotel franchise breakfast guidelines
  • Consistently interacts with guests to provide a superior breakfast experience
  • Maintains food service quality and safety standards
  • Communicates guest feedback to hotel management
  • Maintains a clean work environment compliant with health codes and hotel quality assurance
  • Performs additional tasks as requested while wearing hotel uniform according to standards
