Job Requirements

  • No high school diploma required
  • One month related hospitality experience and/or training
  • Must have developed language skills to read and comprehend instructions, safety rules, and memos
  • Must be able to speak clearly and confidently
  • Requires mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure
  • Must have developed reasoning skills to follow instructions and solve problems professionally
  • Must be able to travel to and from function sites
  • Must have valid NH driver's license and favorable driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background check and driver record check
  • Ability to walk, sit and stand for significant periods
  • Ability to reach, handle, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, stoop, talk, hear, see and smell
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with frequent lifting/carrying of up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work in outside environmental conditions such as wind, rain, cold, snow, extreme heat
  • Ability to work in inside environmental conditions protected from weather
  • Ability to tolerate temperature changes and noise exposure
  • Recommended to wear non-slip shoes

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to speak clearly, distinctly and with confidence using appropriate pauses, emphasis, and punctuation
  • Mathematical skills sufficient to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure
  • Developed reasoning skills to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions
  • Ability to professionally deal with problems in standardized situations
  • Valid NH driver's license and favorable driving record to operate company vehicle

Job Duties

  • Maintain standards of food, beverage and guest service quality
  • Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times
  • Serve meals and drinks in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor tables and anticipate guests' needs, including refilling drinks and checking in during meals
  • Clear and reset tables between courses and after guests depart
  • Handle customer complaints or requests promptly and professionally
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
  • Communicate immediately to the manager of any kitchen delays or service issues
  • Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
  • Ability to work well with a diverse group of people
  • Participate in ongoing education and training
  • Attend team/department meetings
  • Other duties as assigned
