Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- six months previous kitchen worker experience required
- safe food handler certification preferred
- available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Setup of buffet every morning
- operate the dishwasher
- load dirty dishes and unload and store clean dishes
- clean and maintain buffet line always stocked
- control quality and consistency of all food served
- ensure that station or relevant prep list is set in a timely manner
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, food preparation checklist and number of covers to be served
- demonstrate safe and competent use of all tools such as knives, pots, pans, stoves, ovens, steamers
- always keep work area clean
- lift bus tubs to bus carts and push carts to the kitchen
- clean food serving areas including counters, utensils, and food trays
- maintain proper sanitation according to health department and stewarding standards
- maintain cleanliness of kitchen through serving periods and after closing
- perform additional duties and projects as assigned
