Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in food service or cooking
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • reliable and punctual
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Friendly, service-oriented, and dependable
  • prior experience in food service, particularly cooking is required
  • ability to follow safety, cleanliness, and food handling standards
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks
  • able to work mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide outstanding hospitality and customer service
  • prepare breakfast items for buffet along with a la cart orders
  • maintain buffet hot breakfast items
  • prepare to order tickets of the a la cart menu along with to-go orders
  • follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • empty trash and maintain kitchen in a clean, organized, and safe condition
  • wash dishes
  • assist co-workers and collaborate with other hotel departments as needed
  • respond professionally to guest requests or complaints
  • represent MCHG positively in the community
