Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months or less of experience in similar or related work
- Ability to exert physical effort including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, feel, talk, hear and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Able to maintain personal hygiene and appearance according to company standards
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Availability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to adhere to company policies and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
- Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
- Knowledgeable of kitchen operations and sanitation procedures
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and to address them by name whenever possible
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing products out of reach, loading or unloading heavy items, making note of and passing along customer suggestions, and enhancing the shopping experience
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- Prepares the cooking surfaces and breakfast foods including vegetables, sides, and meats
- Places food in hot cases, monitors amounts, and refills as necessary
- Prepares items for upcoming shifts
- Understands and practices proper sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness
- Maintains adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines
- Reports to work on time and follows store policies
- Knowledgeable of all menu items and able to take guest orders
- Provides direct customer service when necessary
- Orders product and supplies when necessary or notifies department head
- Assists in other areas of the store as needed
- Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required
