Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or less of related work experience
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to distinguish colors and maintain good vision with or without correction
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to maintain personal hygiene and adhere to dress code
  • Availability to report to work on schedule and on time
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or less of similar or related work experience
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
  • Ability to write identifying information and request supplies
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of proper sanitation procedures
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and safety practices

Job Duties

  • Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
  • Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
  • Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
  • Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading/unloading, and passing along suggestions
  • Answers telephone promptly and provides friendly service
  • Works with co-workers as a team for customer satisfaction
  • Prepares cooking surfaces and breakfast foods according to recipes
  • Places food in hot cases, monitors amounts and refills
  • Prepares items for upcoming shifts
  • Ensures proper sanitation and cleanliness
  • Maintains adherence to hygiene and dress policies
  • Reports to work on time
  • Knowledgeable of menu items and takes guest orders
  • Provides direct customer service when necessary
  • Orders products and supplies or notifies department head
  • Assists in other store areas as needed
  • Performs other job-related duties and special projects
