Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • six months or less of similar or related work experience
  • ability to solve practical problems
  • ability to do simple addition and subtraction
  • ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
  • ability to write identifying information and request supplies
  • must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
  • able to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening

Job Duties

  • Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
  • smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
  • makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
  • assists customers by escorting to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading/unloading heavy items, passing along suggestions
  • answers telephone promptly and provides friendly service
  • works with co-workers as a team
  • prepares cooking surfaces
  • prepares vegetables, sides, meats and breakfast foods
  • places food in hot cases, monitors amounts and refills
  • prepares items for upcoming shifts
  • ensures personal understanding of all kitchen aspects
  • practices proper sanitation procedures
  • maintains adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
  • follows company policies and store guidelines
  • reports to work on time and as scheduled
  • is knowledgeable of menu items and takes guest orders
