Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to solve practical problems
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- ability to write identifying information and request supplies
- must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- able to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- willingness to undergo pre-employment drug screening

Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- assists customers by escorting to products, securing out-of-reach products, loading/unloading heavy items, passing along suggestions
- answers telephone promptly and provides friendly service
- works with co-workers as a team
- prepares cooking surfaces
- prepares vegetables, sides, meats and breakfast foods
- places food in hot cases, monitors amounts and refills
- prepares items for upcoming shifts
- ensures personal understanding of all kitchen aspects
- practices proper sanitation procedures
- maintains adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- follows company policies and store guidelines
- reports to work on time and as scheduled
- is knowledgeable of menu items and takes guest orders
