Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or less of similar or related work experience
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
  • Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be able to maintain proper personal hygiene and dress
  • Compliance with company policies and scheduled working hours
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or less of similar or related work experience
  • Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
  • Ability to write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing
  • Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
  • Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
  • Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name whenever possible
  • Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing items, loading/unloading heavy objects, and passing along requests
  • Answers the telephone promptly and provides helpful service
  • Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
  • Prepares cooking surfaces and various breakfast foods
  • Places food in hot cases and monitors amounts
  • Prepares items for upcoming shifts
  • Ensures understanding of all kitchen aspects
  • Practices proper sanitation and maintains cleanliness
  • Maintains personal hygiene and dress according to guidelines
  • Adheres to company policies and store guidelines
  • Reports to work on time as scheduled
  • Knowledgeable of menu items and able to take guest orders
  • Provides direct customer service when necessary
  • Orders product and supplies or notifies department head
  • Assists in other store areas as needed
  • Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required
