Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or less of related work experience
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Visual acuity including depth perception and color vision
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Must report to work on schedule and be punctual

- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited guidance
- Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction, copy figures, count and record data
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions and treating customers as the most important people in the store
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner, whether the encounter takes place in the employee's designated department or elsewhere in the store
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and to address them by name whenever possible
- Assists customers by escorting them to the products, securing out-of-reach products, loading or unloading heavy items, noting customer suggestions or requests and performing tasks to enhance the shopping experience
- Answers the telephone promptly and provides friendly, helpful service
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- Prepares the cooking surfaces and breakfast foods including vegetables, sides, meats
- Places food in hot cases, monitors amounts, and refills as necessary
- Prepares items for upcoming shifts
- Ensures understanding of all kitchen aspects
- Practices proper sanitation procedures and keeps work area clean
- Maintains strict adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- Reports to work on time
- Knowledgeable of menu items and able to take guest orders
