Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months or less of related work experience
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • ability to see clearly from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet
  • ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • ability to follow sanitation and hygiene guidelines
  • punctuality
  • willingness to work in varying temperatures and noisy environments
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
  • smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
  • makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
  • assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach products, loading/unloading items, passing along customer suggestions, enhancing shopping experience
  • answers telephone promptly providing helpful service
  • works with co-workers as a team
  • prepares cooking surfaces
  • prepares vegetables, sides, meats and breakfast foods
  • places food in hot cases, monitors amounts and refills
  • prepares items for upcoming shifts
  • ensures understanding of kitchen operations
  • practices proper sanitation procedures
  • maintains cleanliness and hygiene
  • adheres to store policies
  • reports to work on time
  • knowledgeable of menu items and takes guest orders
