Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Up to six months of related experience preferred
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to perform tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, and reaching
- Must be able to follow verbal or written instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Basic arithmetic skills including addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach products, loading heavy items and passing along suggestions
- Answers telephone promptly and provides helpful service
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepares cooking surfaces, vegetables, sides, meats, and breakfast foods
- Places food in hot cases and refills as necessary
- Prepares items for upcoming shifts
- Ensures understanding of all kitchen aspects
- Practices proper sanitation and maintains clean work area
- Maintains adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
- Adheres to company policies
- Reports to work on time
- Knowledgeable of menu items and takes guest orders
- Provides direct customer service when necessary
- Orders products and supplies or notifies department head
- Assists in other store areas as needed
- Performs other job related duties and projects
