Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Up to six months of related experience preferred
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to perform tasks such as climbing, balancing, stooping, and reaching
  • Must be able to follow verbal or written instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screen

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or less of similar or related work experience
  • Ability to solve practical problems
  • Basic arithmetic skills including addition and subtraction
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

  • Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
  • Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
  • Makes an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name
  • Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out of reach products, loading heavy items and passing along suggestions
  • Answers telephone promptly and provides helpful service
  • Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prepares cooking surfaces, vegetables, sides, meats, and breakfast foods
  • Places food in hot cases and refills as necessary
  • Prepares items for upcoming shifts
  • Ensures understanding of all kitchen aspects
  • Practices proper sanitation and maintains clean work area
  • Maintains adherence to hygiene and dress guidelines
  • Adheres to company policies
  • Reports to work on time
  • Knowledgeable of menu items and takes guest orders
  • Provides direct customer service when necessary
  • Orders products and supplies or notifies department head
  • Assists in other store areas as needed
  • Performs other job related duties and projects
