Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or less of related work experience
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
- Ability to see with or without correction and distinguish colors
- Willingness to work in cool and warm environments
- Ability to handle noise and equipment vibration
- Ability to adhere to sanitation and hygiene policies
- Ability to report to work reliably and on time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
- Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- Ability to write and verbally request supplies
- Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions
- Answers the telephone promptly providing helpful service
- Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepares cooking surfaces and menu items including vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods
- Places food in hot cases, monitors amounts and refills as necessary
- Takes guest orders knowledgeably
- Prepares items for upcoming shifts
- Practices proper sanitation procedures and maintains a clean work area
- Maintains personal hygiene and adheres to dress code
- Adheres to company policies and reports to work on time
- Provides direct customer service when necessary
- Orders product and supplies or notifies department head
- Assists in other areas of the store
- Performs other job related duties and special projects as required
