Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or less of related work experience
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to see with or without correction and distinguish colors
  • Willingness to work in cool and warm environments
  • Ability to handle noise and equipment vibration
  • Ability to adhere to sanitation and hygiene policies
  • Ability to report to work reliably and on time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or less of similar or related work experience
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
  • Ability to do simple addition and subtraction
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
  • Ability to write and verbally request supplies
  • Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service
  • Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner
  • Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading/unloading heavy items, passing along customer suggestions
  • Answers the telephone promptly providing helpful service
  • Works with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prepares cooking surfaces and menu items including vegetables, sides, meats, breakfast foods
  • Places food in hot cases, monitors amounts and refills as necessary
  • Takes guest orders knowledgeably
  • Prepares items for upcoming shifts
  • Practices proper sanitation procedures and maintains a clean work area
  • Maintains personal hygiene and adheres to dress code
  • Adheres to company policies and reports to work on time
  • Provides direct customer service when necessary
  • Orders product and supplies or notifies department head
  • Assists in other areas of the store
  • Performs other job related duties and special projects as required
