Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in a hospitality, service or consumer-facing franchise preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving concerns of co-workers and guests
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests
  • Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled time
  • Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
  • Must be able to stand or remain stationary for 3-4 hours at a time
  • Must be able to operate office machinery and perform data entry
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, lift and transport up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to visually inspect details at close and long range
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guest names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work collaboratively to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
  • Support and be aware of all groups and events at the hotel
  • Answer incoming calls using friendly, approved greetings
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests warmly even while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete all operational checklists with 100% accuracy during each shift
  • Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform with nametag and maintain grooming standards
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude by stretching beyond traditional roles
  • Collaborate to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
  • Clear and sanitize breakfast room tables after each guest departure
  • Set up the breakfast buffet area each morning according to requirements
  • Clean the kitchen thoroughly as per checklist after breakfast service
  • Adhere to food safety measures daily according to health codes
  • Keep the buffet area well stocked and clean until the end of breakfast period
