Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage service preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Must be able to pass and maintain certification from TIPS and/or Responsible Vendor training if applicable
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and company policies
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and lifting duties
- Availability to work early mornings and weekends as required.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Associates in Hospitality or Hotel Management
- Knowledge of MS Windows and inventory or point of sale software preferred
- Service minded and friendly professional behavior
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Professional in appearance and presentation
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Job Duties
- Provide the highest quality of service to the guest at all times
- Consistently interact with the guests to provide a superior breakfast experience
- Greet guests in a prompt and courteous manner and inquire about their stay
- Provide guests with coffee and/or newspaper and offer coloring books/placements for children
- Maintain breakfast area in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Clean the lobby area during slower times and at end of shift including windows, doors, end tables, telephone, vacuum rugs, and restock coffee bar and supplies
- Maintain equipment through self-maintenance and work orders
- Open early or extend hours during weekends as required
- Adhere to all company policies and safety standards
- Maintain proper food levels during breakfast hours within brand standards
- Monitor food levels and place orders within budget
- Transfer daily par level food from freezer to fridge for the next day
- Store food items properly with labeling and dating
- Thoroughly clean the breakfast area after service including wiping tables, vacuuming floors, cleaning spills, mopping, trash removal, cleaning coffee and juice machines, and washing dishes.
