Job Requirements

  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule that may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have basic English verbal communication skills
  • Must have the ability to obtain food handlers certification as required
  • Physical ability to perform job function with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Be proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a hotel or a related field
  • Previous food and beverage experience
  • Basic English verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain food handler certification as required
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Desire to serve all guests

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner
  • Ensuring that bar, food, and service areas are stocked, organized, clean and neat and all side work is complete during each shift
  • Prepare breakfast items and restock as needed during service hours
  • Communicate with all departments regarding in-house VIPs and any special requests/needs
  • Support all areas of the beverage and food service as necessary
  • Share knowledge of the hotel, its amenities and menu options
  • Perform other duties as assigned
