Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Must be effective at listening, conflict resolution, and communication
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests
  • Must be willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out as scheduled
  • Must clock in and out for breaks at the designated times
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
  • Must be able to stand or remain stationary for 3-4 hours at a time
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, lift, and transport food and beverage boxes up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English

  • Effective use of English language skills for communication and comprehension

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Use approved phone etiquette and answer incoming calls with friendly service
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized front and back of the house
  • Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet every guest happily while cleaning
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time each shift
  • Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform with nametag and smile at all times
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to support business needs
  • Collaborate with all team members to create a welcoming environment
  • Clear and sanitize breakfast room tables after each guest's departure
  • Set up the breakfast buffet area consistently according to brand directives
  • Fully clean the kitchen according to the daily checklist after breakfast
  • Follow food safety measures daily per approved breakfast standards
  • Keep the buffet area well stocked and clean until breakfast ends
