Job Requirements
- five plus years experience with commercial bread making
- two years relevant experience as a supervisor or specialist
- thorough knowledge of products, buying, pricing, merchandising, and inventory management
- excellent verbal and written communication
- strong organizational skills
- excellent math skills
- ability to follow directions and recipes
- ability to taste and evaluate all products to judge quality
- ability to communicate and work well with others as part of a team
- patient and enjoys working with and mentoring people
- proactive approach to problem solving
- ability to learn proper use of all equipment used during food preparation and cleanup
- available for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- perform duties related to the daily production of baked goods including accurate mixing, dividing, shaping, proofing, and baking to ensure consistency in daily production
- maintain quality and production standards and ensure production schedule is followed
- ensure accurate recording of mixing, shaping, proofing, retarding temperature and time information
- interview, select, train, develop, and mentor team members to build and sustain a high performing team and minimize turnover
- maintain all HACCP, FSMA and SSOP procedures and standards
- achieve budgeted expense levels
- maintain awareness of new products and regularly incorporate into overall product mix
- manage the buying and ordering process with facility buyer and establish and maintain mutually beneficial vendor relationships
- establish and maintain collaborative and productive working relationship with store and regional leadership
- follow and comply with established procedures including health and sanitation and adhere to safe work practices
- operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
