Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- possess basic math skills
- physical ability to mix hundreds of pounds of dough and form into loaves
- ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- intermediate product knowledge including temperature and chemical reactions
- basic understanding of English language for communication and instructions
- passion for consistently producing great products
- positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in bakery or food production preferred
- knowledge of artisan bread making
- intermediate understanding of baking chemistry and temperature control
- basic English reading and communication skills
- ability to perform physical tasks related to bakery production
- passion for quality bakery products
Job Duties
- Mix and scale ingredients
- bench dough
- prepare bakery products including produce and deli items
- operate ovens, proofers, mixers, and dough dividers
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work environment
- lift and stack flour and other supplies
- assist bakery clerks and provide customer service
