Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in ingredient scaling or food production preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or baking environment preferred
  • Basic math skills for accurate scaling
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift and move ingredient containers
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Check dough sheet for running order and record lot codes and sign off
  • Adhere to posted scheduled shift and prompt attendance for each shift
  • Always scale ingredients according to PRIMS formula specifications and any formula adjustments
  • Scale up necessary setup buckets for dough sides
  • Label any small batch buckets on the carts per dough mix
  • Communicate with mixer as to dry scale set up on carts
  • Fill ingredient barrels during and at the end of your shift
  • Record lot code on log sheets
  • Keep supervisor informed of any inconsistencies in ingredients or stock inventory changes
  • Properly record ingredient usage
  • Follow all GMP/Food Safety/Safety policies during the shift
  • Report to supervisor any occurrences or observations as to possible correction
  • Adhere to breaks schedule for the shift and length of breaks
  • Perform any and all other duties deemed necessary by supervision
  • Properly lock out/tag out any applicable equipment before cleaning
  • Keep scaling area clean
  • Sweep floors/wipe down tables
  • Keep ingredient buckets and lids clean and organized to storage areas
