Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • clean driving record for three years
  • ability to drive a standard cargo van
  • physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform repetitive bending and stooping
  • strong math skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • availability to work early morning shifts starting at 5am
  • reliable transportation
  • current food handler's card or ability to acquire one
  • adherence to health and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Fill delivery vans according to assigned routes
  • deliver breads to natural food grocery stores, eateries, restaurants, food trucks, and university dining halls
  • communicate with bakery office manager and team regarding customer feedback, needs, and potential issues
  • ensure safe loading and unloading of products
  • follow all traffic rules and maintain a clean driving record
  • provide positive and helpful customer service
  • navigate small spaces such as kitchens and grocery store aisles
  • adjust invoices and credit memos accurately using strong math skills
