Job Requirements
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service to customers and team members
- Must work in a positive, organized and detail-oriented manner
- Must be able to multi-task and assist customers while completing production duties
- Must follow written and verbal instructions from Bakery Manager and store management
- Must demonstrate manual dexterity with mixers, slicers, ovens and other potentially hazardous equipment
- Must be willing to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must attend work regularly and predictably
- Must complete tasks in a safe manner and remain alert
- Must cooperate with management, coworkers, customers and the public
- Must uphold company policies including anti-harassment program

Job Qualifications
- Previous experience baking or cooking in a restaurant, bakery or catering environment preferred
- Experience working in retail or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Manual dexterity with bakery equipment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
- Ability to work under stress and maintain composure
- Commitment to integrity, honesty and ethical behavior
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
Job Duties
- Adheres to Earth Fare vision, standard operating procedures and merchandising guidelines
- Maintains a positive and professional work environment
- Responsible for baking muffins, cookies, Danishes and croissants
- Monitors Bakery Manager Production Level list to fulfill production requirements
- Sets and maintains baked goods cases with proper product, signage and rotation for freshness
- Provides excellent customer service at bakery counter and other areas
- Operates ovens and bakery equipment safely
- Scoops batter for next day production
- Packages dry case items and wraps pastry trays to ensure freshness
- Slices bread for customers as needed
- Participates in inventory counts and department/store meetings
- Maintains cleanliness, sanitation and organization of bakery department, fixtures, storage and equipment
- Implements merchandise displays according to bakery manager guidelines
