Job Requirements
- Meet minimum age requirement for the service of alcoholic beverages
- Ability to exert physical effort including lifting at least 30 lbs
- Ability to maintain coordination and perform physical activities throughout the work area
- Ability to think clearly and stay organized while serving multiple guests
- Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision
- Commitment to maintaining company standards and policies
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a guest service or restaurant server role preferred
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and beverage offerings a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Competence in handling cash and credit card transactions
- Ability to engage with guests and promote a positive dining experience
- Understanding of state liquor laws and responsible alcohol service
Job Duties
- Deliver service of menu items and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant and equipment area via opening and closing checklists
- Direct, implement, and maintain a philosophy congruent with the company’s culture to guide staff
- Ensure every guest interaction meets or exceeds expectations to drive repeat business
- Create and contribute to a high-energy environment that promotes engagement for the team and guests
- Communicate effectively with management and team members to foster an open and respectful work environment
- Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, beverages, state liquor regulations, and company policies
- Greet guests and take orders utilizing suggestive selling and upselling techniques
- Prepare guest checks and process payments adhering to all cash handling procedures
