Job Requirements
- Minimum two-year culinary certificate or equivalent experience
- Seven to ten years of kitchen experience
- Four years in an executive chef role
- Serve Safe certification
- Ability to travel extensively (70-80% travel)
- Valid driver's license
- Experience coaching culinary teams
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation policies
- Ability to manage high-volume culinary operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary leadership role with financial accountability
- Experience in a multi-unit, fine dining restaurant group
- Ability to coach others without formal authority
- Associate or Bachelors degree preferred
- ACF Membership and Certification preferred
- Minimum two-year culinary certificate or related experience
- Minimum 7-10 years kitchen experience including four years as an executive chef
- Experience in a high-volume environment
- Prior experience training and leading dining program implementation
- Excellent presentation and culinary skills
- Proven coaching and teaching abilities
- Serve Safe Certified
- Valid driver license and ability to travel
Job Duties
- Coaching and teaching location level chefs to achieve culinary standards and signature programs
- Ensuring communication and adherence to culinary operational standards through training and site visits
- Supporting new restaurant openings with menu development, product selection, and culinary training
- Collaborating to capture and implement culinary, menu, and service innovations
- Leading culinary production to ensure connectivity to organizational standards
- Managing waste, supply chain, and equipment operation to ensure operational efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with food management, occupational safety, and sanitation policies
- Completing on-site assessments to ensure quality and consistency
- Selecting and developing recipes for promotional menus aligning with food cost targets
- Participating in special events and culinary presentations to support sales and retention
- Troubleshooting kitchen operations and food presentation issues
- Maintaining and updating culinary standards
- Coaching and managing executive chefs in best practice food production techniques
