Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7-10 years of kitchen experience including four years as an executive chef
  • Experience in a high-quality and service-oriented culinary leadership role
  • Ability to coach and mentor culinary teams
  • Culinary certificate from an accredited school or equivalent apprenticeship experience
  • Serve Safe certification
  • Willingness and ability to travel 70-80 percent including extended stays
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel by airplane, car, or train

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a culinary leadership role with financial accountability
  • Experience in a multi-unit fine dining restaurant group
  • Ability to coach others without formal authority
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • ACF membership and certification preferred
  • Minimum two-year culinary certificate or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years kitchen experience including four years as an executive chef
  • Experience in high-volume culinary environments
  • Prior experience training and leading dining programs
  • Excellent culinary and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to coach and teach in a kitchen
  • Serve Safe certification

Job Duties

  • Coach and teach location-level chefs to achieve culinary standards and develop talent
  • Ensure operational standards are communicated, understood, and met through training and site visits
  • Support new restaurant openings with menu development, product selection, and team training
  • Drive innovation in culinary, menu, and service programs through collaboration
  • Manage culinary production to align with organizational standards including food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Oversee compliance with food safety, occupational health, and wage policies
  • Maintain and update culinary standards and ensure consistent quality and cost targets for menus
