Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Experience in alcohol or beverage industry preferred
  • Must be able to maintain a valid driver's license
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Access to computer with Microsoft Office and home internet
  • Personal smartphone for communication and reporting in field
  • Able to travel for mandatory training at program launch
  • Able to work independently managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Able to communicate effectively tailoring message to audience
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs
  • Available 40+ hours per week including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Must be of legal drinking age (21+)
  • Minimum 2 years of beverage company and/or distributor experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with event production and brand ambassador management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities
  • Organizational skills to meet weekly deadlines
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift 40lbs
  • Must be available to work 40+ hours per week including nights and weekends
  • Experience working with wholesalers and accounts
  • Experience recruiting, training, and managing Brand Ambassadors
  • Must live in the market for the full duration of the program

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive activation strategies to achieve sales and brand objectives
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and local wholesalers
  • Sell in brand programming to key accounts
  • Lead planning and execution of brand activations, special events, sponsorships, and promotions
  • Manage Brand Ambassador team including recruitment, training, scheduling, weekly event execution, and reporting
  • Provide guidance and support to Brand Ambassador team ensuring alignment with company objectives
  • Manage local assets ensuring Brand Ambassadors have merchandise and materials for sampling events
  • Prepare activation recaps, metrics, and event success reports
  • Manage local budget and budget reporting/reconciliation
  • Perform pre-calls and checklists for sampling event preparation
  • Monitor event execution ensuring achievement of key brand KPIs
  • Submit program deliverables such as expense reports, recaps, BA survey audits, and time sheet approvals on time
  • Understand local nightlife/events and alcohol beverage laws
  • Analyze sales and market data to provide consultation for under-performing accounts
  • Manage events in person
