Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous banquet or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to carry trays with 6-8 plates or multiple drinks
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Basic understanding of banquet event operations
- Physical stamina to perform duties throughout events
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in banquet or hospitality service preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Physical ability to carry trays with multiple plates or drinks
- Customer service oriented approach
Job Duties
- Coordinate with banquet captains and food and beverage leadership to execute successful banquets onsite at the hotel
- Assist in set-up procedures to ensure room design is executed correctly
- Maintain a timeline of events to ensure seamless service
- Ensure cleanliness of space and all equipment is in working condition
- Collaborate on buffet set up, drink stations and snack tables for each event as needed
- Organize work area and storage area
- Provide a high level of professional customer service at all times
