Job Requirements

- Experience handling counterfeit cash preferred

- Strong written communication and email etiquette preferred
Job Duties
- Organize and manage daily and nightly box office operations including will call, guest list, ticket sales, and ticket scanning
- Assist and support box office staff in their job functions as needed
- Ensure a positive and creative team environment within the department
- Facilitate open communication with the box office manager, staff, and all other venue departments
- Ensure complete and satisfactory ongoing staff training
- Assist manager with staff evaluations including training, 90-day, and annual reviews
- Recruit and hire staff following all clubs and theaters guidelines
- Promote and provide superior customer service in all guest interactions
- Ensure venue staff follow cash handling policies and procedures
- Balance and reconcile all seller cash drawers
- Assist manager with reconciliation and accounting of ticket sales for events and daily box office sales
- Conduct band settlements and provide accurate daily ticket counts
- Create, modify, and maintain inventory for ticketed events
- Monitor and maintain functionality of ticketing computers, software, and hardware
- Serve as secondary representative in venue interactions with Ticketmaster
- Ensure accurate and timely flow of event and venue information
- Modify and maintain customer database files
- Develop and maintain call center phone system and event calendars
- Interact with artists, record labels, management, and band tour accountants
- Collaborate with premium seat sales and guest services on ticketing needs
- Provide offsite venue event management as required
- Ensure venue compliance with ADA ticket laws
