Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Alcohol Awareness Card
- previous bartending experience or equivalent education, training, or experience
- ability to communicate effectively in English both in written and oral form
- ability to stand and walk during the duration of shifts
- ability to push/pull 25lbs or less
- physical ability to perform repetitive use of both hands including light and firm grasping motions
- ability to perform tasks requiring coordination, memorization, problem solving, and decision making
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- knowledge of alcohol service laws and regulations
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- knowledge of serving alcohol with care and menu products
- superior knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding alcohol service
- ability to operate a glassware washing machine and ice machines
- ability to communicate effectively in English both in written and oral form
- ability to do simple reading, math, and complex task completion
- coordination, analyzing, precision working, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, decision making skills
- flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
- minimum age of 21 years
Job Duties
- Prepare and provide proper and professional beverage service to all guests and cocktail staff in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner
- input and ring-up charges for guest's orders using the POS system
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment including removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, scrubbing/sanitizing equipment
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar daily including before, after and during shift
- listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
- make constant contact with both internal and external guests to provide optimal guest service
- make recommendations to guests, offer beverages with ordered meal
- assist the management team with orders and inventory as needed
- perform any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
