Job Duties
- Greet guests and determine the number in their party
- Seat guests by finding a clean, available table
- Pull out chairs and place menus in front of guests
- Guide guests through dining rooms and provide assistance as needed
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings
- Organize seating for groups with special needs
- Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has necessary items
- Check menus for cleanliness and currency
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report accidents and unsafe conditions to manager
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Speak with clear, professional language
- Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Support team to reach common goals
- Listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
